Tucked Under
C- Print, Fabric, Perfume, Phone, Video
Tucked Under is an exploration of the materiality of development and the relationship with the worlds of the personal. Thinking about notions of rest, movement, death; I produced pieces of work that bring these two worlds together. Initially inspired by early morning and late nights of staring at the news of the world through my cellphone, I question the passivity, existentialism and associated guilt that comes with information that is fed to me. At the heart of this, I still predominantly find a way to come to terms with my lived reality and this work is the result of that process. This is an ongoing piece. The first piece is an installation with c-print, fabric, video, scent and video.
